Broadband, Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD)

Connecting America

Bridging the digital divide

The US government’s Broadband, Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program is dedicating $42.5 billion of funding to bridge the country’s digital divide. To qualify for BEAD awards, recipients must demonstrate investment in equipment manufactured in the USA. At Adtran, our team in Huntsville, Alabama, has been engineering innovative broadband solutions for over three decades. Now, we’re investing an additional $5 million to expand our domestic production capabilities and support our ongoing mission to connect homes and businesses across America. Through our hardware and software solutions, we’re helping make seamless fiber broadband accessible in every state. No matter where you live, no matter how remote you are, Adtran technology ensures that fast and reliable digital connectivity is an attainable reality for every American citizen.

Designed and manufactured for BABA compliance

From our high-performance optical line terminals to our robust network gateways, Adtran technology is helping connect America with solutions that meet the Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements of the BEAD program.
