Peter Schuman

Peter brings extensive expertise in financial communications and investor engagement to his role at Adtran, where he leads strategic updates and market insights that support stakeholders. His long and successful career prior to joining Adtran includes senior investor relations roles at Avaya, Cambium Networks, Coherent, Inc., Oplink Communications and Intel, where he contributed as an industry analyst and public relations expert.

His experience extends to marketing leadership at the Nasdaq Stock Market, and he also worked as a compliance examiner for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) in the Enforcement Department. Peter received an MBA in Investments and International Business from Pace University in White Plains, New York and a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park.
