Conventional methods often struggle with performance and power limitations, driving the need for solutions that deliver higher speeds, longer reach, and greater efficiency.
In this session, Ognjen Jovanovic will present a practical 100Gbit/s burst-mode coherent solution that achieves a >38dB link budget without optical amplification. He will also showcase a novel ~17.1ns DP-QPSK preamble that ensures digital signal processor (DSP) convergence, enabling power-efficient modulation and reduced DAC requirements for next-generation optical networks
